Ujimahereandthere

Friday, November 24, 2006 So many pictures! I started traveling the world in 1962 when I went to the university and traveled around in Mexico for ten weeks. Being a teacher, I had breaks during spring and summer holidays. Unfortunately, so many of my pictures are still on slides or are in books and have not been scanned. So I'm going to put up some that have and some digital and other random pictures that strike my fancy.

Who is the guy in the picture and how did he get there? There were no
mirrors or reflecting surfaces where/when I took the picture. Is he a
leprechaun or one of their minions? Ooooooooo!

He sang every hour. Great tenor voice. (I've sen him @ Brittingham's
in the neighborhood.) The dancers didn't perform until after 5. I
was home by then.

Saul High School

Saul High School, originally uploaded by ujima.

This is a Philadelphia public school for agricultural sciences. It's further down on the
street from where I live. When I was a kid, it was called the Farm School. I love seeing
the cows, horses and other animals in the field as I ride by on the bus!
Their exhibit was called Gallic Gateway.
