Atlantic City, NJ
Here are a few pictures from my birthday
trip to Atlantic City from 12/26-12/28 2006.
in The Pier
Everyone stands and waits to see the
dancing fountains. Looking at this is
more exciting to me.

Boardwalkers
Went down to Atlantic City, New Jersey for two nights to celebrate my
67th birthday with friends and friendly slots. I *always* win on my
birthday, even in Las Vegas.
The weather was warm and sunny, the two night comped room spacious,
and our meals were comped because of slot and table play.
We didn't do much listening to music because we can do that at home.
Weather was perfect for walking the boards. This picture was taken from the
second floor of the newly reconditioned shops @ the pier.
Pier Ceiling
The colors went red. green, white. The stores
are *very* upscale. Went into the Apple store
and played with the computers then to
Starbuck's for hot chocolate. Sat in the
window seat and looked at the ocean, children
running on the beach.
All aboard
had gone down on the neighborhood
casino bus. You pay $18 and get a $20
voucher from the casino when you arrive.
Going home on the train, the senior fare
was $5 or something like that; but it takes
twice as long and stops *everywhere*!
Ford's Mistake
On the train reading the newspaper. I think Ford's big mistake was
pardoning Nixon.
My big mistake was getting locked in the train's lavatory and pulling the
wrong switch trying to get out which disabled a door on the train.
30th Street Station
While standing on the bridge, waiting
for the reticulated bus, I like to look at
30th Street Station, the main railroad
station in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
It was completed in 1933.

Santa at school
Santa came to school each year. This Dead
tee I'm wearing was sold by the
Lithanian basketball team at the '92 Olympics.

ME.........WITH
The following are pictures of me with others.
These are my sisters. I'm second from the right.
We all play piano. This was in 1945.
No Contract No Work
We made many strides through many strikes for the children and for
ourselves. (I'm third from left.)
Gov of Idaho & his bell
When the Republican Convention came to town in 2000, Mayor Street
asked us (Dems) to help out and volunteer. I was @ the bell exhibit made
by the kids from the 50 states.
Of course i told the Gov the joke whose punchline is *I* da ho! He was
underwhelmed :)

Hyde Park 1970
This was during my first trip to London. I've
revisited 6 or 7 times since then. The
following pictures are from a trip in
February of 2000.
Breakfast Window
The perfect beginning to each day was to
sit at a sunny table in the breakfast room
and look out at Hyde Park.
view from above
Loved to sit in the front on the second
level of the double decker bus to watch
the passing scene
rope walker
I had gone to Leicester Square to get
tickets for the play "Art" and stayed to
enjoy the outdoor performers.
